Publisher's summary

New York Times best-selling author and former Delta Force commander Dalton Fury (Black Site and Kill Bin Laden) is back with an explosive new thriller.

Former disgraced Delta Force commander Kolt "Racer" Raynor has earned his way back into The Unit after redeeming himself during an explosive operation at a black site in Pakistan. But he is about to face his deadliest challenge yet. The most wanted man in the world, American al Qaeda commander Daoud al Amriki, and his handpicked team of terrorist operatives, have acquired stores of Russian-built, shoulder-fired surface-to-air missiles (SAM's) from ex-Libyan spies in Cairo. Their mission: infiltrate the United States and take down American aircraft. The country's best are tasked with stopping them. But when a SEAL Team Six mission to take down al Amriki goes wrong, Major Raynor and his Delta Force team find themselves front and center as Amriki and his terrorists work their way closer to America. And time is running out.

Dramatic and revealing, Tier One Wild takes listeners on an international thrill ride from the black ops nerve center of JSOC to the bloody streets of Cairo in a story only a former Delta Force commander could tell.

Another great book.

Right up there with the first one. Very talented author. Great job with the notation as well.

What is Sure to be a New Popular Action Series

This book picks up after the events in "Black Site" and quickly catches your attention. Well thought storyline that has depth to it, that will keep you listening. Smooth flowing, not rushed, but not bogging down either, the tempo of the book was good! Continued character development, makes Kolt Raynor more personable, and relatable.

I felt like this book was well thought about and the author took his time creating the plot and storyline. It wasn't rushed out, lacking in details and depth like some books in a new series that is popular.

Started out slow, but then went really...

This book, while not as good as the first book was a great listen. It started out slow, then went into over drive in action. Looking forward to the next one!

I loved the story and I like the action.

I liked the book very much. I didn't like that the book kept stopping. I have never had a book that stopped on its own at least a dozen time while I was listening to it.

Tier One Wild Better then the first one!

Better than the first one! Great job and the abrupt ending was fine and is exactly what I would expect Major Raynor to do evade the situation.

I loved this book!

Great action from start to finish. Dalton definitely did a good job incorporating characters from the first book, and there was absolutely no drop off from the first book. I look forward to listening to the next book!

Dalton Fury is Excellent!

Where does Tier One Wild rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Hard to rank among ALL the audiobooks I've listened to but it is definitely one of the very best I've read / listened to in the genre.

What did you like best about this story?

It was exciting and full of action while remaining very believable.

Which scene was your favorite?

Hard to explain without spoiling the whole book but it was the last scene of the book.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes

Any additional comments?

The first Dalton Fury book I read was his nonfiction memoir of the hunt for Osama Bin Laden titled "Kill Bin Laden." While that book is excellent, and highly recommended, his two Delta Force novels are probably my favorite books in the genre. If you like Vince Flynn, Brad Thor, Tom Clancy, and others like them then you will definitely enjoy Dalton Fury's books. His years as a genuine Delta Force Officer add a level of credibility and believability to his stories that is sometimes lacking in the work of other authors.

Exciting

What made the experience of listening to Tier One Wild the most enjoyable?

The description of the action, the characters each had a consistent personality throughout the entire novel and the ability to see the scenarios in my mind's eye.

What other book might you compare Tier One Wild to and why?

Clear and Present Danger by Tom Clancy due to the descriptive nature of the action, the character consistency and military bearing is correct.

Which scene was your favorite?

The takedown of the main site and all of the multiple angles that were described and considered as it was described.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I wish I could have, keeping up with the action and progression of the story and characters can be difficult.

Any additional comments?

Great book, great story and series. I'll be back for more!

Ear Burner! In the best way! 😁

I'm not big on doing reviews, but this, and all Dalton Fury books are worth it! If you want a story that builds, and provides immediate action then this is it. Hands down another awesome 10 star listen! Bravo Zulu to Dalton Fury for creating a great story, and Ari Fliakos as usual for a great job on his narration. I 100%reccomend this, and all Dalton Fury books.!!
