Romantic- Lawd

The narrator did a wonderful job with all the characters. She is smooth, her inflection is on point. The story is a lovely sexing romance that was entertaining and fun.

Terrifying for an innocent young girl!

The book has crime, love , and keeps the reader’s attention to the very end. There is some humor in the mix also.

CAUTION GIRLS - You will fall in love with Brooks!

STORY - This is a very good contemporary romance, but the murder witness aspect of the story is just as important and just as good. There are some minor plot lines regarding some of the small-town folk that could be eliminated, but it doesn't detract from the story at all in my opinion. The character development is excellent, and I absolutely loved Brooks. He is kind, patient, clever, romantic and believable ... probably my favorite male character in the romance genre. I would love to see Ms. Roberts follow up with a mystery novel using his police skills and Abigail's computer-hacking talents.

NARRATION - Julia Whelan did a great job. She was able to do male voices convincingly, as well as the Russian and small-town Southern accents.

BOTTOM LINE - If you enjoy contemporary romance, you will probably love this book.

This novel was a good mix of suspenseful thriller and romance novel, one that will keep you entertained for many hours. There's plenty of action and drama, good characters, and no slow parts. Enjoyed this one!

THE STORY LINE WAS JUST GREAT, A FANTASTIC LISTEN TO A GREAT BOOK BOUGHT TO LIFE YOU WILL NOT WANT IT TO END.. IT WILL SUPRISE YOU, MAKE YOU SAD, BUT MOSTLY MAKE YOU HAPPY, YOU WILL NOT WANT IT TO END. THE NARRATION GIVES IT A FIVE STAR RATING. VERY WELL DONE

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

THE PLOT WAS EXCITING AND KEPT ME LISTENING FOR HOURS ON END.

I HAD EMOTION ALL THROUGH THIS BOOK. IT RAISED MY HEART RATE MADE ME CRY AND MADE ME HAPPY

I gave up on Romance novels years ago. I got this one on a special deal and will look at some of Nora Roberts other book now...

It was a well written story, with lots of emotion.

I enjoy all of the characters.

It did make me tear up a little and smile a lot.

I find it very helpful when people who write reviews name the authors that they enjoy . Some of my favorite female authors are Tanya Huff, Jennifer Estep , Laurell Hanilton, Patricia Briggs, Dana Stabenow , Carrie Vaughn and Kim Harrison.
