not sure how you come up with your story line for your books.. but I can't get enough.. love all the characters and stories. this actually is the second book I've read of Nora Roberts and have found myself listening to them within 2 days . I would actually love to meet her.. great book!!

Stupidity Discount
As a 20 yr veteran fan of Ms Roberts, A.K.A. J.D.ROBB, it never fails to amaze me that Ms Roberts still has that wonderful formula for a good old fashion love story with a mystery in this 2012 novel. This translates to witty dialogue and humor. This formula is not in every single story Ms Roberts writes, but so many do have it. This is one of them that will be worth a good old fashion sentimental re listen.
Publisher summery spot on so no need to add to it.
However, as a newly minted fan of Ms Whelan, due to Karen Robards series this narrator does, I have now gone through Ms Roberts books this narrator reads. She is suburb in her interpretation of the characters. Maybe it is the timing, but I have suddenly become a big fan of her 2014 male voice for a hero. No, prior to 2014 it is not really deep, but the cadence and heart in this male voice comes through for this novel. Hence I am now tuned in to her full talent for all characters in a novel.
It started with a sale on the great author, Karen Robards, which can introduce you to a new narrator for you. Ms Whelan is no novice to great narrations, see her awards.

Suspenseful and humorous
I didn't expect to chuckle so much over the nerd vs the sheriff's conversations. Great suspense with a romantic twist. I would recommend it.
