CIA counterterrorism operative Mitch Rapp falls prey to government forces with an agenda of their own after Dr. Irene Kennedy is named the successor to dying CIA Director Thomas Stansfield—a choice that enrages many inside the world’s most powerful intelligence agency. Her detractors will resort to extreme measures to prevent her from taking the reins—which makes Rapp an expendable asset. But Mitch Rapp is no one’s pawn, and he will stop at nothing to find out who has set him up.

"Flynn's latest thriller...is an old-school spy story...updated with heavy helpings of international intrigue and domestic politicking and betrayal." (Library Journal)
"Fans of Ludlum and Clancy will want to check it out.' (Pioneer Press)
I bought the unabridged version before listening to Transfer of Power - Nick Sullivan is NOT the voice to use for Mitch Rapp. Although the end of book left you hang... just getting to the end is a painful process when listening to someone who cannot convey the intensity of what these stories need. Never read the print version but I definitely love the audiobook.
The ending was to me the most memorable part of the book because it was not really an ending.
No I have not listened to another one of his audios but he did a good job.
It kept me on the edge of my seat and also frustrated me at times because of how the action was played out. That frustration or anxiousness was a good thing!
Yes, for the mere fact that you don't expect the ending.
I enjoy Mitch Rapp but this had no ending. Obviously it is transitioning into the next book, but there could have been a better ending.
Don't care too much for this narrator.
Fun times in Costa Rica. Eco tour and learned so much. Oversees Adventure Travel is the way to go if you want to visit somewhere
Great twist by the author.Had me going huh? What? at the end. Well done Vince RIP
Exciting with international travel, bad guys revealed and colorful characters. Some killed. Some spared. The nucleus of favorite characters remain. All narrators are similar so stop fussing the reading of such great words of great writing/spoken word
I always like Vince Flynn's books. However, this was a different reader and sometimes I couldn't tell who was talking because the reader didn't have enough change in the voices. I enjoyed the other reader more.
