Vince & Mitch at their best

I loved this and couldnt put it down. Vince Flynn keeps me on the edge of my seat.

An entertaining spy thriller

Would you listen to The Third Option again? Why?

I have listened to it twice already. The Mitch Rapp series are great books to listen to on long commutes.

Have you listened to any of Nick Sullivan’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

He has done well in all the books I have listened. He does well to change his inflection or accent for each character and you can hear the emotion in his voice.

Worth it

While not quite as charismatic as Guidall, the narrator was pretty good. The "lack of an ending" is nothing like that, just that the thread continues in the next book.

Another Thriller

This narrator is excellent. Each character has their own distinctive tone and quality. You feel like someone is telling a story not reading a book. And as usually with Vince Flynn the
story is perfect, all well intertwined and each end finished with satisfaction. My favorite author.

I loved it! This is why Vince Flynn was the best! Can't wait to start the next one!

If you could sum up The Third Option in three words, what would they be?

A must read!

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

All of the different hit squads running around at the same time??? That's edge of your seat action.

Have you listened to any of Nick Sullivan’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

He's above average. Not the best, not the worst. The reviewers that gave him a low score have not listened to the below average narrators that are out there. He is nowhere near a one or two star narrator.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Oh yes! I couldn't stand the whiney girl friend Anna. She was self absorbed and self centered. Rapp's life could only revolve around her, never mind what he wanted or needed. Anna got into the President's office to demand he tell her where Rapp was? Seriously? I understand Rapp was needing family and hearth, but Anna's consistent griping about it, made me want to slap her. Give the man a break! Ughh.

Even with the whiney girl friend the story was still a 5 star review for me.

love the series

this is a great series I am really enjoying the audio books. I think there are probably more truths and the series then we desire to admit

Nick is no good

Every book is great including this one. George gudell ( forgive my spelling) is my first pick to read hands down. He just makes rapp come alive. That's my only gripe.

Another good one

If you've made it to volume four in the series you are hooked like I am. I wish he was in DC right now. Hard to believe those clowns can find the floor in the morning when they get out of bed.

Riveting

I listened to the Audible version of this book. Great accompaniment for a long drive or bicycle ride. The action is so continuous its hard to put it down for other activities.
