Great book, awesome narration!
I am a huge Mitch Rapp fan and this book did not disappoint. This is my first Vince Flynn audiobook. I've spent lots of time driving recently so not a lot of time to read. I will say that of the hundreds of books I've listened to, this narration is in my top 10%. Not over the top with the voices but enough character to discern the different players with great consistency. The story was on point, as usual with Flynn. Looking forward to the next one!

Pretty Good.
It definitely wasn't his best. The plot was just so so and the characters were kind of bland. It almost felt like a filler book. Still good though.

The audible book cuts off last 3 chapters!
The only problem with this audible book is they never finished reading the last three chapters for the download, or there is a part 3 that never got delivered. Tom V.

Mitch Rapp does it again
Would you listen to The Third Option again? Why?
I would listen any of the Mitch Rapp stories again. Not only is the plot filled twists and turns and political along with military intrigue, Mitch is out killing all the bad guys. Mitch is helped out by a new set of characters who add an extra layer of kick ass to the story. This story and real any of the Mitch Rapp sagas is recommended to readers who like the military/political thriller genre of books
What did you like best about this story?
The no nonsense way Flynn writes his stories. He has created a hero who is American's answer to terrorist even if the people or politicians don't he out there taken care of the bad guys. The interactions between Kennedy and Rapp are some the most interesting conversations between a boss and worker, but Rapp will assassinate the people in his way and sleep like a baby in the morning.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Framed, Pissed, and out for blood, just another day on the job for Mitch Rapp.

An exciting story for an exciting CIA assassin!
Mitch Rapp continues to rule as an assassin for the U.S. government. As I got towards the end of the book, I was disappointed to see that it was leaning towards a to-be-continued status. There were several questions left unanswered with characters that appeared towards the end of the book. I'm a true believer in closure with book storylines.
