Sound effects not necessary.
Sound effects are not necessary do not sound good. I listen at higher speeds and the sound effects and various voices just make the book harder to listen to.

Love this series
Another hit by Baldacci!! I like all of his books but I think the King/Maxwell ones are my favorites. I just hope he doesn't kill one of them off before it is all done. There are lots of close calls!! This was very interesting with the memory/intelligence angle. He makes what I hope truly is just fiction seem believable.

very entertaining and a lot of intrigue.
I like the relationship between Shawn and Michelle. And the Edgar Roy, James Harks Characters were well done. And the surprising end was shocking and in a way inevitable.

Best of this series
I didn't want it to end. It flew by even as i relistened to much of twice to not miss a detail. An incredible murder mystery. When is the movie coming out!?
