Interesting but a little far fetched, plus not super "end of your seat." Narration is excellent though. This would be on my maybe list.

Loved the story except for the word JERKILY!!
I loved the characters. The narrator did a great job . But the word JERKILY was used to express how the characters said something n every time I heard the narrator say," he said jerkily." or "she said jerkily." I cringed. it was awful n said to many times. How do u say something jerkily??

Great book!
Great listen and very entertaining! Perfect narrator and characters introduced in this book! It was exciting to listen to until the very end and hard to stop in between.

Enjoyed it
I almost did not get this book because of a few reviews. I am glad I did! While it was not a sit at the edge of my seat type of book it was still an enjoyable story line. The narrator did a decent job and I was glad I did not listen to the few. When I looked at the total ratings I saw it had good review numbers just not a lot of comments.

Good plot, interesting story, great reading
Plot was good. Chemistry between two main characters needed work. I wish the author would use a thesaurus and stop using "shakily" and "jerkily" so much. Even though it was interesting and absorbing I'm so glad this was not a series.

Wanted it to end much sooner.
Unbelievable story line and I was hoping the featured female would get harmed just so I didn't have to hear her dialogue any longer. Very disappointing. Better than not having any book at all but not by much.

This book was intense, interesting and irresistible! The story line was great. The connection between Mandoc and Alli was incredible!
