New Narrator -- Disappointment!

I have been reading this series and was really into it, util this narrator. It is obvious she didn't do her homework or even listen to the last performer. She mispronounces many of the words and doesn't read with the same attitude as the previous reader. It is hard to get used to and changes the whole character... I am sorely disappointed!

Book 6 Review

I loved the book, HATED the narrator. Please get the original narrator back for the next book. It took so much of the enjoyment out of of the book for me that this narrator was so appalling. And the mispronounced words were just so irritating.

Performance is distracting

The voice actor was not prepped with a pronunciation guide. Hearing major character names pronounced differently than every other book was distracting. I can’t tell if this is the producer’s fault or the actor. (I’m inclined to blame both.)

If you like this series, then read this one on your kindle ... unless you absolutely must listen to the audio version.

Horrible recitation of this book!

There were numerous mispronunciations and a few glaring editorial mistakes. Excellent Rachel Morgan story. Please, don't use Gigi again.

There really should be a rule that a narrator coming into the middle of a series has to listen to the previous books. I could have overlooked the mangling of Jenks, Ivy and Al's voices but the totally different pronunciation of key words and character names was appalling. I cringed whenever she said, "Piss-curry", "TA KA TA," or "Leeeeey Lines." The totally different pronunciations were discordant and made this book irritating to listen to rather than a pleasure.

I'm so glad that Marguerite Gavin is back for the next book.

was used to the other lady. she did a better job of sounding out the different people in the story.

Great story. Poor performance

I enjoyed the story, but the change in performer and inconsistency in relation to the previous books in terms of pronunciation and character tones severely hindered my enjoyment of this book.

Hard to listen to

Loving The Hallows series but this narrator didn’t pronounce words and Ames the same as the last so it was hard to listen to. Continuing because I am this far...
