Awesome thriller
Very entertaining political thriller, starring Secret Service agent Scott Horvath. Lot of action, in some ways like '24' except without Jack Bauer's penchant for torturing information out of suspects. Very good performance by the reader, look forward to hearing more of Horvath's adventures.

The beginning of a Beautiful series!!
The total suspense coupled with the unending action grabbed my attention from the beginning and continued throughout each page of this book. I continue to read each of the books in this series and its amazing how this series just has that particular flow. This book will grab your attention with its incredible characters and the twists and turns inherent in its plot development. A great read..

Story is Extremely Far Fetched
The plotline was intriguing but the inconsistencies were breathtaking. Like how the most deadly assassins in the world suddenly can't hit anything when they come up against Scott. Or how Harvath and an attorney are able to wipe out two deadly hit squads. Or how Harvath, who never misses anything, allows a female attorney to get the jump on him and put a gun in his back. Anyway, the story strains credulity a bit too much for me.

Difficult to Follow? Maybe a Little.
I found it a little difficult to follow the characters and stay immersed in the story, but it was engaging enough to keep listening. Will listen to more by this author to see if it is a pattern or just this particular book. As I mentioned, it was only a LITTLE difficult.

Very good Story
Would you listen to The Lions of Lucerne again? Why?
I heard such great things about this author. However, I didn't want to start in the middle of a series, so I started at the beginning. Great book for the opening of the series. The narrator kept me interested and did not become monologue or mondanined.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Scott has to be the best character.
