Publisher's summary

Saturday, 0911 hours — A blast rocks a London hospital and thousands are dead or injured.

1009 hours — Joe Ledger arrives on scene to investigate. The horror is unlike anything he has ever seen.

Compelled by grief and rage, Ledger rejoins the Department of Military Sciences, and within hours he's attacked by a hit team of assassins and sent on a suicide mission into a viral hot zone during an Ebola outbreak.

Soon Ledger and the DMS begin tearing down the veils of deception to uncover a vast and powerful secret society using weaponized versions of the Ten Plagues of Egypt to destabilize world economies and profit from the resulting chaos. Millions will die unless Ledger meets this powerful new enemy on its own terms as he fights terror with terror.

Take another thrill ride with Joe Ledger.

Addicting

This series is great! The main character is very personable and hilarious in a very serious book.

Joe Ledger vs The Kings

Another strong entry from Jonathan Mayberry with Joe Ledger, Mr. Church, and the whole group up against an international assortment of ruthless criminals calling themselves The Seven Kings. Once again, Ray Porter does an excellent job of narration. My one complaint is the occasional preachiness that comes through revealing the author's left leaning bias. One of these days I would like to listen to a yarn that treats both sides of political persuasion equally good or bad. Anyway, a minor complaint to an otherwise enjoyable story.

Awesome!

Narrator really brings the story to life, and it exceeded my expectations for sequels. I can't wait for the next book to come out! I don't want this story to stop! Will definitely listen to it again soon!

Love Joe Ledger

I love the Joe Ledger books and this one was great. It continued with character development and answering questions from previous books. You should read the books in order - FYI. The only thing I would change is less swear words, especially F-bombs; otherwise, this was a great book.
