Publisher's summary

Tightly written thrillers like The Marching Season have made best-selling novelist Daniel Silva a favorite of readers everywhere. In The Kill Artist, he paints an absorbing portrait of a reluctant hero’s attempt to thwart an old enemy to preserve a precarious peace.

After the assassination of his wife and son, Gabriel Allon retires from his brutal anti-terrorist career and loses himself in his previous cover job: art restoration. But when Tariq al-Hourani, the Palestinian terrorist responsible for his family’s death, begins a killing spree designed to destroy Middle East peace talks, Gabriel once again slips into the shadowy world of international intrigue. In a global game of hide-and-seek, the motives of Gabriel and Tariq soon become more personal than political.

Filled with vivid action and a fascinating cast of supporting characters, The Kill Artist delivers pulse-pounding suspense, carried to a startling climax by the tension-packed narration of George Guidall.

good story, excellent reader, crap editor

the reader was great, the story good but for some bizarre reason on scene changes the first word or 2 was cut off and the narration faded into. Totally bloody annoying.

The Kill Artist

I had not read or listened to Silva's work before. My brother put me on to him. I'm glad he did. I like the way Silva works his story. Nice job. I will listen to more.

Problems with the aufio

The last six chapters of the book impossible to understand. The reading was much to fast to understand. I enjoyed the story but was unable to find out the conclusion to the story. I am very unhappy and would like to know what happened.7

Fantastic, one of the best spy thrillers!

Excellent from start to finish. Like watching a movie plenty of action and excitement throughout the book, not a boring chapter. The narrator was great and was able to catch each accent from different countries.

A great start for a great character

Story has loads of characters - and surprises…right up to the very end. Engaging scene set for a series of European espionage stories.

Weak ending

A lot of filler in this tale but overall, it was an enjoyable read. I particularly liked the reader who could speak as the characters very well

Good character descriptions.

I liked it all, it summed up to some degree, why the middle east can't find a way to peace.
