One of the best detective novels as well as Reacher novels
Hard Way is one of the best, if not the best, of many Reacher novels I’ve listened to. I’m addicted to the Reacher books. Although this one doesn’t have as much fighting action as others, it is one of the best detective novels I’ve read. I really really hope they make a Reacher TV/streaming season of this novel. Maybe they can add a little more Reacher fighting at the end. But it’s a great detective novel. So many twists and turns that don’t add up until the end.

Not the best Reacher ending
The story was pretty well developed for the first three quarters of the book; but the end was contrived and seemed like the author was in a hurry to finish.
The narration was wonderful and done in typical Dick Hill fashion.

An entertaining kidnapping thriller with Reacher
The Hard Way is an entertaining, action packed thriller about a kidnapping and a group of mercenaries. The story has plenty of twists and turns to keep the reader in their toes. The book can be excessively cruel at times, and there is something about the ending that I found unbelievable even in this context. Overall, it’s a good book.
The narrator is the same one who does most of the books in the series. By now, his voice is expected.
