Another bad guy

Well Nick got Kate in trouble but in the end took down a crooked ex-politition although no real remains were found, then again after a hell fire missel hits the building your in not surprising. The FBI's black OPP team of Kate, her dad, & Nick can get almost any job done. I like when Kate's dad calls a "friend" & things usually go boom, while Kate & Nick slip out undetected.

Love this series ❤️

I love Kate and Nick's adventure and magnetic pull. I especially enjoy the narrator. I have listened to books narrated by Scott Brick and love this series by him too. His nuances with Nick and Kate and the snark is awesome. I look forward to listening to the rest of the series.

Laugh out Loud funny and keeps your attention

Would you consider the audio edition of The Chase to be better than the print version?

Having not read this book in print I don't feel I can answer this fairly, but it is a great listen and, I'm sure, a great read.

Who was your favorite character and why?

My favorite characters are both Kate and Nicholas - and Boyd Capwell!! O'Hare and Fox for obvious reasons - the dichotomy, the chemistry and their combined creative imaginative ways they look at problems. Boyd Capwell for his talent and his serious commitment to his craft!

Which scene was your favorite?

The plane scene was my favorite.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

It's all about the chase.

Yes - the book is an easy listen and entertaining.

What did you like best about this story?

The author keeps the story moving along and does not go off on sub plots or dive in to drab details.

Which scene was your favorite?

There were a couple of twists and turns, but the ending was worthy of the build-up

The only negative would be the narrator. He did a good job, but you need a few chapters to get used to his style of reading. Almost like he is reluctant to be doing this if that makes sense?

What made the experience of listening to The Chase the most enjoyable?

I liked the story, but wish it had had a more listenable and entertaining narrator!

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Scott Brick?

Almost anyone! I had to turn the sound up to "Scream" because he dropped his voice at the end of sentences and also when he was talking for Kate. It was very annoying and made following the story very difficult. I will never listen to anything narrated by him again. Certainly there are narrators that are more in the style of Janet Evanovich that Scott Brick.

fun and entertaining

this is my second Janet evanovich book. I really enjoyed the story it was entertaining and I love the sarcastic humor. can't wait to listen to the next one.

The characters are entertaining and have depth. I like the ongoing push pull between the lead characters.

Fox & O'Hara Make a Dynamic Duo

The romantic tension between the rogiush con man Nick & the straight laced FBI agent Kate is always amusing. Joined by an intriguing cast of characters working crazy scams they manage to bring down the bad guys. The witty dialog and non stop action make for an enjoyable & entertaining read!

New favorite series

I purchased these books based off of a recommendation. I absolutely love them! I gave them to my wife and she read them before I could finish listening to the second book! Next credit, I will be getting the third!
