Great story
I have loved Mrs. Pollifax for a great many years and am pleased to see her in audio form. The only complaint I have is that the narrator has chosen to portray her as a feeble sounding old woman. When as a woman in her 60’s she is a vital character and other characters of a similar age are portrayed as less feeble sounding. Overnight the performance is good.

So Fun!
Really enjoyed this book. It is a great concept for a book series. I’m completely attached to Mrs.Pollifax. Her adventures, resourcefulness, and courage all while being kind and ladylike are just the best!

Great story, great narrator
This was such an entertaining story! I will be looking to hear more books in this series. The narrator did an amazing job with the different voices and kept the story moving along. Highly recommended!!

A fun variation on adventure tales
Not only the casting of a woman of a certain age as the protagonist, but also the upbeat timbre make this series a zany variation on the classic adventure tale. The exotic far~flung settings border on cartoonish stereotypes, but the author depicts supporting characters in foreign lands with dignity.
