Couldn't Finish It
I didn't finish this one, rare for me, because it just wasn't delivering. The narrator was not for me. I don't know if the story is good. the writing combined with narration was mediocre.

Enjoyable and I listened to it over three days
Would you listen to The Accounting again? Why?
No-Only because I never listen to a book twice.
What did you like best about this story?
I liked the stories flow and the crisp writing with snap back dialogue.
Any additional comments?
I have read two reviews that said the reader did not finish listening or did not care how this one ended. Frankly I wonder what kind of a fiction book could please those reviewers. This is a solidly written story and it was performed well. I will look forward to more from this author.

Awful narration, tedious plot
The narrator, aside from being out of character with a rough southern accent for a society boy from Philadelphia's Main Line, managed to mispronounce most of the difficult words. It was very distracting, as there was little or no character development, either. The rambling plot just rambled and it was a tedious listen. By the end, I didn't care what happened.

Terrible. Just Terrible
I don't normally write reviews but I had to take the time to help any audible listeners who may be considering purchasing this book. Don't. The writing is THAT bad. I listened to it for nearly an hour before deleting it from my app. Seriously, I'm not a book snob and have several books in my collection that are far from classical literature, but this book is just awful. Save your credit, save your time and run the other way.
