The fifth and latest book in the Hallie Marsh Mystery Series....
As acting editor at a society magazine, Hallie Marsh is on the scene reporting when murder intrudes at a birthday celebration onboard the Medusa, a regal yacht. Always the accidental detective, Hallie searches for the killer by sifting through the secrets of the A-list set she was born to.
Hallie Marsh: The heroine now of five novels became an accidental detective after breast cancer allowed her to reinvent herself and change the course of her life. Surrounded by medical expertise and malfeasance, she has evolved novel by novel, as the mystery within begins to reflect the mystery without. Indeed, book by book she realizes her calling: to do good. After all, charity is large, public, and blessed; crime is small, secret, and destructive....
In Hallie's society set, life may be seen as fragile, indulgent, and rewarding at the same time. The joy of the moment can reverse in an instant, as history may turn on a dime in her self-defining city.

This was a great story to take me away from the weekly stress. Its nice to know there are still authors who entice the reader.
It is not often that an audio book is captivating. However, C. LaMoreaux leads the story with intrigue, excitement, and animation in her voice. I am impressed with how the narrator seems to include the audience in the story just by her tone quality and delivery.
Yes. If you enjoy mysteries with feisty female protagonists, you will be sure to love this book - it's a fun story with excellent narration. The narrator really brings the characters and the plot to life!
I've never listened to any of Catherine LaMoreaux's other performances, but she does excellent work with the A-List Murders. I would love to listen to her narrate another audiobook!
I have never read the Hallie Marsh Mysteries. This audiobooks was very entertaining. Because if it I want to hear more of the Hallie Marsh Mysteries.
I listen to audiobooks all the time, and Catherine LaMoreaux's performance was one of the best. She really played out the characters.
