Maggi makes the book

I love dogs and the German Shepherd Maggi makes this book. The book was good. I did not like Scott talking to her like a little girl. I have a Doberman and I never talk to her like that. The story was well developed and moves fast

It drags a bit but it’s a good listen

While I must admit I was ready to delete this story. I held out and it took a spin for the better. It wasn’t my normal type of storyline but its really touching listening to the bond between man and dog. I’m looking to see what else the author has.

Action Packed

I enjoyed this book very much and look forward to listening to the entire series. Maggie is the dog that defines “man’s best friend.”

Well written with a total understanding of military K9 world. Well thought out presentation.

I will definitely recommend this book to a friend. If you love dogs, murder mysteries and suspense this is the book for you. I really loved that he wrote sections from Maggie (the dog's) perspective. I laughed, I cried, I bit my nails. Just what I want from a good story

great read

I really enjoyed this short, sweet book about a broken detective that teams up with a broken dog to solve crimes and heal each other along the way. If you've ever had a dog that you loved than this one will bring tears to your eyes (and keep you on the edge of your seat!)

What did you love best about Suspect?

Have always loved Crais, but in SUSPECT he takes it to a new level of mystery, suspense and heart.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Suspect?

All of them, Could feel the acceptance between Maggie and Scott, especially in the car. Dog lovers know what I mean as I could almost feel the presence of Maggie as she nudged against Scott.

Excellent Book

This was an excellent book. It held my interest from beginning to end. MacLeod Andrews was great. It is definitely worth a credit. I loved how Maggie was a whole character. If you love dogs, you will especially like this book.
