Small Vices...Small Voices

Burt Reynolds should stick to acting. His half-drunk slurred speech made it difficult to endure this book, even though the story was reasonably good. I might have to go to the library and read this just to wipe Burt's voice out of my memory.

Bring back and keep Joe Mantegna whose distinctive voice and cadence always make Spenser come alive.

Avoid Burt Reynolds Narration

Parkers books are all five star. But Burt Reynolds narration is below terrible. Big chunks are literally unintelligible. I gave 2 stars on the basis of the story, but I would strongly suggest you save your credit and avoid this audio book. Fine actor, terrible book narration. Buy the paper book and record it yourself, it'd sound better!!!

Reynolds Not A Good Narrator

I finally got around, to listening, and was greatly disappointed by the narrator! In my opinion, he ruined a perfectly good story! Burt! Nevermore!!!!

Zombie maker

The story is great... But, the narrator makes Spenser a zombie. The book could be finished in 5 hours instead of 8...
