Publisher's summary

In the midst of a savage Minnesota blizzard, investigative reporter Rick Beanblossom receives an anonymous note much like the one the Lindbergh family received when their infant son was kidnapped. As he searches for his own son, Beanblossom must not only relive the horrors of his Vietnam tour when Napalm destroyed his face, but also research the tragic circumstances of the Lindbergh kidnapping. Fighting the perilous weather and racing against time, Beanblossom desperately searches for clues in history's most infamous kidnapping that may solve his own painful loss.

Silent Snow

Steve Thayer is a master at weaving intricate details and multiple plots with location. This book is difficult to stop listening to like The Weatherman. It's a wonderful mystery which makes the reader want to listen to more and more of his great work.

Great read for a great price!!!

I get a lot of the daily specials when they are close to at least 10 hours and in a genre I like. This was one of the best (of the specials). It would have been well worth a full credit. A superb mystery with a great story and narrator. Well worth the money. Enjoy!! I have listened to 230+, mostly in this genre at audible, and I highly recommend it.

SILENT SNOW

From the beginning to the end, I was totally mesmerized. I listen to my audible.com books in my car and looked for reasons to go places just to listen to this one. The theory he espoused is so plausible, it is hard to keep in one's mind that this is a work of fiction. I heartily recommend this book to avid mystery readers.

What a surprise

I bought this one because of the cost.
I was so suprised at how much I enjoyed this book.
A well written book with good characters. Very descriptive and unusual.
The reader was excellent. Not because he used a lot of voices but he use puncuation and inflections is all the right places.
A very good listen.

More Steve Thayer!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and didn't want it to end. Steve Thayer wrote another wonderful murder mystery titled "The Wheat Field". I hope Audible makes this available asap. Thayer is an extraordinary writer.

Horrible narrator

A wonderful and suspenseful tale that could entertain one for many hours, but the narrator sounds like he is on his last leg and may not make it to the end of the book. I finally became so frustrated with the dialogue that I quit listenting and deleted the book from my library. Save your money!
