This is one of the book that I did not read in the series order. Love it!

Great story

A shot of disaster.
Jack Daniel’s number 5, but it felt like he was more of a side character in this one. It was different, but the story was still interesting. Tequila was different and on a mission. He felt more like the main character. Things got intense and action-packed. Tons of crazy moments. I liked when their two sides intersected and became one.

Not up to standard

This story is more about "Tequila" than it is about Jack Daniels. I missed her banter in this one.

Different reader

I really wanted to hate this reader, but he was fabulous. Kept it different so you could remember it was a prequel, Herb was even skinny! Lol

Just plain awful.

Would you try another book from J. A. Konrath and/or Luke Daniels?

I have read all of the Jack Daniels books and loved them, except for this one. It just didn't seem to belong to the series.

What was most disappointing about J. A. Konrath’s story?

Where was the humor? The "exciting" scenes were too long and dragged out.

There wasn't one.

No.

The rest of the series is great, fast-paced and funny. Just don't waste your time or money on this one.
