Excellent novel.

A simply marvellous novel by a fantastic novelist. Initially, i had some concerns that the narrator just did not have the right tone. Too smarmy, too slow. But increasing the speed by 25% made it much better. Am off to sequel.

Slow Start- Great End

I almost put this one down for good. The beginning was a little slow, and I don't know if it was the book or the narrator.

In the end I'm so glad I stuck with it. The end is fantastic not leaving any questions unanswered.

You will enjoy this one.

Great story, but over use of profanity

The story and characters were very well developed. Plot was fascinating and held my interest throughout. Narrator was outstanding. The only issue I had was with the excessive profanity. It just became annoying and tiresome.

Smart, Sexy, and Twisted

This was a pretty genius book. It's hard to say too much without giving away the whole book. If you like mystery, twists, intrigue, deception, and overall craziness, this is the book for you!

Excellent, absolutely brilliant

This book was the best murder mystery I have read in a long, long time. Well written and well performed this book was hard to put down. My next book will be by Scott Turow, he has earned it.

Presumed Innocent review

Author gets a little too carried away w describing details making the book very long, but the reader was fantastic - especially with all the different voices for different characters.

Excellent twists

This is a very enjoyable novel. To be written surrounding just one murder, like most in the genre, it is very exciting. My wish is for more action from novels like this. However, I really can't fault this book for its genre. I loved the viewpoint being told from a prosecutor, and all of the twists. I highly recommend this book.

Great story line, just to much melodrama

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Maybe, it's a good story. Has you wondering 'who-done-it' right up to the end. Great misdirection. But then there's this 'Hallmark Channel' movie, soap opera presentation ruining the show,

What other book might you compare Presumed Innocent to and why?

Maybe the latest from Grisham, the Whistler. But then that was the first book from Grisham that i did not like.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Edward Herrmann?

Probably not.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

It is probably better to say that that I want to see it through to the end, and skip all the melodramatic self reflections from Rusty.

Any additional comments?

Edward is a very talented writer. His mastery of language and verse is probably the best I've 'heard'. The production is also first rate. Unfortunately I just do not like a lot of unnecessary sappiness to a story.
