“Sick didn’t just hook me. It hit me with a devastating uppercut on every primal level - as a parent, a father, and a human being.” (Blake Crouch, author of Run)
“…a gem of an outbreak story that unfolds like a thriller movie and never lets up, all the way to the last page. Absolutely my favorite kind of story!” (John Maberry, New York Times bestselling author)
“…not only grabs you by the throat, but by the heart and gut as well, and by the time you finish you feel as if you've just taken a runaway train through dangerous territory. Buy these books now. You won't regret it.” (Robert Browne, best selling author of Trial Junkies)
Say something about yourself!
Just keep listening the story develops but yes the end is basically mid sentence. I got the "this has been an audible presentation" statement and let out a shrill "what??" I cant wait to listen to the next one!
Least is easy - it practically ends in the middle of a sentence! Okay slight exaggeration there but not by much!
Most - the expanding of some minor characters from the earlier books.
Not until the next book in the series is out
Yes, great job with accents.
As a stand alone, no. But a movie based on the series sure.
Yea when does the next book come out?
not really, I liked his other series but this one is in 6 books + and could be done in 2-3.
Not in this Genre but this series by this author.
Loved every moment. Cant wait to read the next book "Ashes". Brett Battles continues the plot and leaves you wanting more.
I was really enjoying this story until it just ended in the middle of a "scene" with no logical reason for it. I feel as tho this Eden series was really supposed to be one big book but , in order to squeeze more money out of the readers, it was broken up into 4 (or more?) sections and marketed separately. And whoever broke them up just did it randomly. Had it had a reasonable ending I'd have given it 4 stars and as it was, I was strongly leaning toward only 2 stars.
Eh, if they read the first two in the series, why not... but I would tell them not to expect any real ending.
I think the story was fine until the end when it just ended abruptly. It was like the author simply decided they didn't feel like finishing it.
Can't say that it did.
If you are looking for any closure, don't expect to get it from this book. It's almost as if there is a fourth book planned. You can use your imagination, but the book deserves some additional content. Hopefully this is not a just a trilogy and there is a fourth book on its way!
This is the third book in the fantastic 'Project Eden' series and it just get's better and better. So many twists and turns from beginning to end, with new characters and story streams being subtly introduced as you read along.
You can't help but be sucked into the world of the wonderful characters and their individual stories.
This was the first book I 'read' with Audible and Kindle using their whispersync for voice, in all honesty, this is something I have been hoping would come along for a long time and it did not disappoint - it really is a fantastic way to read books.
