One of the Best in the Series
This is absolutely one of the best in the series. The murder procedural is done very well. The reveals for Eve of her past is gut wrenching. There are so many times I want to grab Eve and hug her. Roarke is pulled through the wringer watching his wife deal with her dreadful past.
Mira comes through as she always does. What an excellent surrogate for Eve's mother. She can see how a parent is supposed to support her child.
Susan Ericksen is the best narrator. She brings every character, every emotion to the surface and the reader feels the story as she tells it. Very well done.

Enjoy the story but I found the read kinda annoyin

I think the story itself is entertaining enough. I don't dig in the whole story but it's still a good story. Would definitely listen to the other stories from the series. But I do not like the narrator's voice when she tries too hard on certain parts.

NY to Dallas
One of my favorite ID stories. The depth of both characters, Eve and Rourke, gives the reader such insight into their personal feelings in this book. This story is one of Robb’s best!

the storyline
this is an excellent book. It kept my attention. I stayed up most of the night to finish it. I especially liked that it led back to Dallas' early days.
