Suspense and intrigue right to the end

Would you listen to Mistress again? Why?

I liked he way the story was filled with suspense as to who was Ben's friend and who was out to do him in. Particularly liked that the ends were tied up as the story progressed. Also really liked the bits of humor and the digressions of the reporter. it was good to have a helper now and then to give Ben a hand.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Mistress?

The showdown at the Whitehouse, and how Ben led the attackers to follow him there was quite spectacular.
Total shock with the contents of the tape that Ben guessed

Which character – as performed by Kevin T. Collins – was your favorite?

I liked Ben the best but also liked his secretary Ashley Brook and the Irish cop from Chicago.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Lots of humor in the book and some researched info re past presidents

Intriguing

Had a hard time putting this down it was intriguing beginning to end. I had some suspicions about Diana actually being dead. And turned out to be correct

Brilliant, inventive and funny

Who was your favorite character and why?

The character of Ben is this fun loving, interesting and very brilliant guy, that really does not realize that he is fun loving, interesting and very brilliant.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

The narrations was okay, I did not care for the music and sound effects

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

My thoughts are keeping me thinking...

I enjoyed this book immensely. The story is will told (I did not need the sound effects) I travelled with Ben in and out of the present moment to the past, and had fun with his superficial thoughts and I GOT all the references, (made me feel smart) and the references I didn't get, he explained them... It was a fun ride/read.

Awesome narrator!

The reader was so awesome! I felt his adrenaline, love his quirkiness!! He made this fabulous book come alive!

struggled to finish this audio to boreing and very slow. I really did not understand what was going on till the last ten chapters. skip this one !!!!!!!!!!!!

the story was clever, even amusing. but it became too violent for my tastes. I did not finish this book

How did the narrator detract from the book?

His voice was robotic and not fitting to the character. I did not finish this book.

The main character whines and is not at all believable. The story takes too long to evolve

Not anymore the last several are just being published because of his name not the caliber of the writing

He doesn't sound like the character portrayed (at least in my opinion)

disappointing

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

This book has a flow that is flippant and grates on the nerves; it becomes hard to listen to. I do not want to have to work at listening to a book which is what one must do with this writing.

Just splendid, keep you on my toes to the end. A must read, award winning!!!!

Great who done it ?

Thought this whole premise a little weird at first. Then I really got into it.
A very good mystery. It could happen on all levels.
