New York Times best-selling author Ann B. Ross has captivated countless readers with her Miss Julia tales. In this 11th entry, America’s favorite senior citizen wants to stay hidden under the bed covers. It’s bad enough her husband Sam wants them to attend marriage enrichment classes. But when she hears Dr. Fred Fowler will lead the sessions, she’s mortified. Yet she can’t hide forever, especially when someone knocks Francie Pitts in the noggin and sends her to the hospital.
Spend some more time with Miss Julia.

I can't decide if it's the narrator or the writing that makes every single Miss Julia book better than the next! Always good for a serious chuckle and keeps you invested in every one of the characters. A+
Ray is my husbands name. I am a middle aged woman from Michigan
Always enjoyable. This one does not disappoint. This is the 3rd or 4th one of these I have listened to and find each one well worth my time.
yes, ann ross always keeps me guess till the end, when she slowly starts to reveal possibilities.
I have listened my way through all of the "Miss Julia" series, except for the last one, and the new, unpublished story which comes out next month. Cynthia Darlow does a wonderful job. She is Miss Julia. She has all the pronunciations, attitudes, and different character voices down pat. I am just about to download another book, read by Cynthia Darlow. I found it because I did a search for other books Cynthia Darlow has read. That is how good I believe she is, as a reader of the "Miss Julia" series.
Not one particular moment. Just the total over all honesty of the character in facing her own foibles, all through out the book and the series.
As a fifty.....hmmm, fifty something woman, I found listening to the proper, honest, loyal, proud, but humble, and sometimes self effacing character of Miss Julia absolutely delightful. Cynthia Darlow's reading/performance has been like having a friend along, during an especially difficult period of my life. I find a nice read, something light, humorous, honest, essential. No more dark heavy subjects for me right now. Ann Ross' stories, and character of Miss Julia, but in particular, Cynthia Darlow's performance just the right medicine.
always a good story from Ann Ross
I am going to pick another Miss Julia story
good voices, nuance, enthusiasm
continue to love these characters
