It's just seven days before Memorial Day, and a spike in CIA intelligence has pointed to a major terrorist attack on the United States. Now it's up to counterterrorism operative Mitch Rapp to pull out all the stops.
Rapp immediately leaves for Afghanistan, where he leads a special forces unit on a daring commando raid across the border into a remote Pakistani village. Their target: an al-Qaeda stronghold. Rapp and his team soon discover plans for a catastrophic nuclear attack on Washington, DC. Information is quickly relayed back to CIA headquarters, and a nuclear emergency support team scrambles to the scene. In a few hours, the freighters have been located and disarmed and the danger has been averted. Or has it?
Mitch Rapp can't shake the feeling that the operation seemed just a bit too easy. Rapp follows his instincts on a quest to unearth the whole truth. What he finds is truly terrifying, and with Memorial Day closing fast, Rapp must find a way to prevent a disaster of unimaginable proportions.

A great book in the Mitch Rapp series. Great hunt to the final outcome of the story. Can't wait to read the next book in the series.
Some of the content is more "blood and guts" than I'd like, and some relationships are a bit unbelievable, but all in all it's great entertainment.
I didn't read the print version, but liked the narrator.
All the other Vince Flynn books and Tom Clancy books
He is one of the best with timely pauses and inflections.
I am listening to the entire Mitch Rapp series.
I love Vince Flynn books! This book met all of my expectations of this series!
Very consistent, good tone of voice
I am a long haul owner operator truck driver, listening to audio books has been a salvation for me.
I gave it five stars. Well put together and Rapp does it again!
Yes, just wondering how Rapp would be able to save the day.
I look for all the George Guidall narration for Mitch Rapp series. He delivers the right tone for Rapp. Rapp is a serious man, no non sense, hard hitter, George does it right!
MITCH RAPP,, A MAN ON A MISSION, JUSTIS, REVENGE, VENGEANCE.
Keep them coming, I can't get enough Mitch Rapp! And please have George Guidall do the narration :)
Vince Flynn does it again with another incredible Mitch Rapp book. I am amazed at how he is able to weave political hot-topics into the story while still making it extremely entertaining and riveting. George Guidall is A+ and you will not be disappointed with this book.
I am a Company Rep in Central Qld. I travel around 60,000klms a year and rely on my Audiobooks to keep me company on my Country Trips!
I find the combination of this Author & Narrator make excellent company on my longer Car journeys. They seem to create a listening environment where the kilometers just seem to fly by! This story was no disappointment!
No......BUT not due to the story. I know the narrator is has a great reputation but he seemed a little off on this one. Normally I love George Guidall!
I very much enjoyed the action, fast pace, and the book was easy to follow the storyline.
Yes.....I have listened to several of his books and normally he is fantastic!
No......Good book but the action and plot was predictable but I still enjoy Rapp......
Definitely worth reading for the price. If you are a Rapp fan, then this is a definite book you will want to listen to......
George Guidall is perfect. He does a wonderful job. This is my fourth time listening to Memorial Day. As far as I am concerned, it does not get any better than Guidall. The man is the best in the biz.
Good story, love the series. This one was good, but not the best. I had a little trouble disengaging from the real world to buy into all the nuances of this book. Compressed travel, actions and reactions in the world of the government were suspended maybe a little too much from reality. That said, I still enjoyed the book and will listen or read the whole series. I recomend that if you are a frequent traveler, don't think about it too much when you either read or listen.
