Great suspense but characters were a bit 2 D

I could not stop listening - even would wake up in the middle of the night to continue. Great suspense novel-loved how the narrator changed each chapter between the female homocide detective and the main character Tessa- I do have to say this crime novel leaves you guessing the whole time. The only negative would be that though the characters were good- they seemed kind of flat and unrealistic.

WOW- Total Whirlwind

The story is a challenge to get until you get it ...then I found myself going back to relisten to details again to be able to put all things together & was still baffled surprised & wowed by the total sum game.....Amazing who done it....More Amazing Who DID It! Great read!

Best Audible book I've heard

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This was a phenomenal story, start to finish. Full of action and suspense it kept me engaged throughout.

Twisty

So many twists and turns. It was an adventure as always with Lisa! I cannot wait to see how this series splits off

Wow!!!

This is my first book by this author but it definitely will not be my last. I wasn’t real sure about it in the first few chapters, but was quickly hooked by the whole story. Intense the entire way through. I did slow the narration down a bit to make sure I wasn’t missing any details as one narrator speaks very quickly and the other very slowly. A great find on an audible deal. Highly recommend!

Interesting story line

I was disappointed in this book. Although it had an interesting story line it just didn’t grab me me. It didn’t leave much to imagination.

Misandristic attitudes and male caricatures detract

It’s worth considering the chic-lit angle when considering whether to start this book. Quite a lot of time spent characterizing/stereotyping men as violent or selfish or sexual predators unless they were the opposite: supportive simpletons. A people-as-people viewpoint is generally missing. Male listeners will need a thick skin. But what can you expect from a girl author? (jovial jibe intended)

loved it. did not want to turn it off. read very well and was an attention grabber.

Took awhile- stick with it

The voices bugged me and the head detectives voice was not a great fit but it was hard to put down half way through. Good story though-so I gave it a high rating.
