While catering a cosmetics company luncheon, Goldy witnesses the hit and run death of a rising young sales associate. Could the death have anything to do with the animal rights picket line in the parking lot...or with the exotic blue rose found next to the victim's body?
Under the spell of Barbara Rosenblat's skillful narration, listeners will feel the urge to bite their nails as they realize that, this time, Goldy's bitten off more than she can chew. Luckily, Ms. Davidson's tempting recipes for Fudge Soufflé and Killer Pancakes provide a tasty alternative.

I am an avid hot rodder and enjoy restoring antique airplanes and automobiles.
This mystery is as good as it gets. I couldn't stop listening to this book.
Narrator has snotty sarcastic reading
Story was interesting, book was better.
Narrator has very irritating voice. The entire story is done in a very snotty sarcastic voice.
Don't think it hasn't been an little slice of heaven, 'cuz it hasn't.- Bugs Bunny
I might read another in paperback.
Get a different narrator.
The narration was a nasal, grating, New York, tough chick that did not match the character.
I was so annoyed by the narration I couldn't get through to chapter 3, so I am really angry I wasted my money.
I will try this in a paperback. The narration is too annoying.
Never read one of her books I did not like and this is also a good one
