When a childhood friend of Abby's from Denver finds herself short one bridesmaid, it doesn't take a professional psychic to see the opportunity for a much-needed getaway. But one bridesmaid after the next is mysteriously flying the coop, and Abby's intuition tells her their final destination isn't pretty. With the wedding party falling apart and her gift of sight never quite so foggy, Abby has to save the date - and herself - from becoming the next taffeta-clad target.

This series is rapidly becoming my comfort listening series. Likable and funny characters, promised happy ending, and cozy mystery make this series a sure thing. When I don't want to read anything stressful and would like to have a BGM book, this series is perfect.
In this volume the killer is pretty obvious halfway through the book. But the ending part was still gripping and I very much enjoyed it.
I am a mom of 3, wife, school bus driver. I love suspense, mystery, paranormal, dystopian, religious fiction and non-fiction. I love series
Fun. Thrilling. More.
Darynda Jones - Charlie series, but without so much sex talk.
Light hearted humor.
The very beginning.
I am not a believer in Psychics, but I think of it as a super-power.
My favorite style of novel are when nature and history become characters in the story. I prefer insight into myself, people and less action.
This series just gets better and better. Nothing like an author hooking you in with a sentence describing... From the protagonists point of view, no less... That they were going to DIE this book, continuing with a brief description of what dying feels like! Then of course she switches to, "one week before." The whole book you know the WORST is going to happen... Sigh. The story was just great. Abby Cooper, our intrepid protagonist, explores the depth of fallible humanity. The scene with the nephews in the limo had me busting up laughing! The narrator, Elizabeth Michaels delivers a both riotous and touching performance throughout. Absolutely delightful. Victoria Laurie and Elizabeth Michaels hit it out of the ballpark, again. :-D
I love Mysteries. May be something I picked as a child listening to Ellery Queen.
i love the characters very enjoyable, can't wait to read my way through her series is. Going to start book 5 now.😊
I've enjoyed the previous books in this series but this is my favorite so far. I love the twists and surprises included! And the narrator did a better job at distinguishing the characters, although she could use some more practice.
I like this series. It has romance fun yet stays serious in the murder plot unique perspective having a psychic for a heroine
Everyone has to have that "Thing They Love!" This is how I find and keep up with mine!
Ever wonder what happens when you have the ability to know everything but don't have the energy to shift through it all? Well let just say hind site is not alway 20/20 Abby is funnier and sexier in this book owing up to her talents with still making all the mistakes is common girls would! Plus the book is based out of MI dare I say I love that she keeps the Detroit vibe alive! I enjoyed the book! I'll buy more as this is a fine way to spend credit as the author gives you plenty of listening time for your buck!
I am an INFP & an empath.I love mysteries&thrillers.I really enjoy psychic investigative novel.Kay Hooper is one of my faves.
I always like her voice though others complain. She sounds upbeat.
Yes I got angry at Abby's character in this book. She was over the top ( like with the presents at V-day), she was sulky, bratty, and to top matters off she was disloyal to Dutch. I found it interesting that it took Abby & Dutch forever to get physical but it happens in about 2 days in this book. It made me look at Abb's differently but then again we all make mistakes and are subject to acting "human".
