This is a great mystery with magic. I love how the story unfolds leaving you wondering who did it until the end. A book I would definitely recommend to others.

For a first in a series book either you want more or you never ever want to hear another word from the author. It Takes a Witch is a book leaving you eager to hear the next one in the series.

There were many the book is well written.

Yes, if you have the time for it. If you don't your eager to get back to it.

It takes a colony of witches

Great little mystery with plenty of interesting characters with different abilities.You've got your regular witches with corky personalities,those with secrets & the even more interesting & fun loving Familiars they have.Two sisters each with their own personalities & an Aunt who is pretty mysterious herself take you through meeting with all the characters in the Salem Colony of"Crafters & non-Crafters".A murder has happened with plenty of fingers to point to,you'll be surprised who ends up being the killer.Loved the story,would definetly recommend.

Interesting...

The story was good. Took awhile to get started. Anyone who likes cozies with a supernatural twist , will enjoy these.
My problem was the narrator. Som e of her characterizations were hard for me to take.
This being said, I will try the next title in the series .

Good clean story. Didn't figure out who committed the murder, but then no real clues were given. Left enough unanswered questions that I'll have to continue the series.
