Publisher's summary

“A crackling addition to [the] Prey series” (Entertainment Weekly) from number one New York Times best-selling author John Sandford.

In a wealthy Minneapolis neighborhood, two elderly women are bludgeoned to death. They are apparent victims of a random robbery, though nothing of value appears to have been stolen. But when Lucas Davenport looks deeper, he fears that the victims weren’t so random, and the items stolen were far from invaluable. As a pattern emerges it leads Lucas to...certainly not where he expected. Which is too bad, because the killers are expecting him. And that’s only the first surprise….

Great Listen

John Sandford is one of my favorite authors. He could write the user manual to my microwave and I would still be enthralled by him. Love the series and I have a huge crush on Lucas Davenport! Can't wait for more.

thrilling

Wonderful to see Eve spread her wings a bit and make more of her own decisions. Invisible Prey is definitely one of his best.

Least Liked Lucas

I've read or heard all of the "Preys" and this one is my least favorite. I didn't dislike it, but found it too full of coincidences and missing the interesting Lucas friends.

Great Lucas Davenport book

Where does Invisible Prey rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It's a good book. One of the better Prey novels I've read or listened to. Great story but what really makes these good is the characters in them. So unique and quirky. Narrator is superb and makes the book better!

Full of twists

The story was very unpredictable and full of plot twists. I like when Flowers is a part of the story with Lucas .

Lighter but still fun

I am a huge "prey" fan and found this one to be less dark and psychological than the others. Still, its Lucas Davenport and company and still a fun listen. Expect it to be lighter than the previous thrillers. There is a small quilting angle for those quilters out there!

heartless moider.

I'm pretty hard to please with who-dunnits and all, but this worked. The twists are not huge, but still it wasn't a detective coming of retirement one last time or anything. a pretty solid plot with some really unlikable killers. Held my interest.
