From New York Times best-selling author Jana DeLeon, the seventh book in the Miss Fortune series.
A force to be reckoned with...
During missions as a CIA assassin, Fortune Redding saw and overcame most every obstacle, but Sinful, Louisiana, keeps producing new challenges for her. When a hurricane blows through, it brings a shower of counterfeit money raining down on the tiny bayou town. When the money is linked back to Ahmad, the arms dealer who issued the kill order on Fortune, everyone is worried that her nemesis is far too close for comfort.
When Ahmad's men turn up in Sinful, the situation becomes life-and-death for Fortune, Ida Belle, and Gertie, and Deputy Carter LeBlanc learns Fortune's true identity. As Swamp Team 3 rushes to locate the counterfeiter, Fortune hopes to take down Ahmad and free herself from her fake life. But will her relationship with Carter make it now that he knows the truth?

Dana DeLeon's Gerty, Idabelle and Miss Fortune are perfect for a 2 hour TV movie maybe twice a year. They would certainly have a following once the first one is viewed. I don't often laugh out loud when listening to audible books, but I do with DeLeon's books and so does my wife.
I really enjoyed this series! The interaction between Fortune, Ida Belle, & Gertie is hysterical! It's never boring that's for sure. I am sad that it's over.. Heard there's another book coming this Summer. Can't wait!
Jana DeLeon, I have enjoyed this series so much! Cassandra Campbell does an excellent job narrating. She brings the characters to life. I will be sad to read the last book coming up. I would love to read on and on...
Attorney - love to listen to audio books
I love this series and this book is one of the best of the ones I have listened to so far. Start at book one and go forward so that you can see the characters and story build. The reader is excellent. The stories are interesting and the characters are fantastic.
I'm still enjoying this series and I hope this isn't the last installment. Jana DeLong has done a wonderful job of not just creating a wonderful cast of characters, but making these characters to seem like friends. Even though I believe this book could be a standalone story, I believe all the books should be read starting from the first in the series.
After an unfortunate disability, I now spend my time with my beautiful wife, great kids, 1 grandson, dogs, and books
The characters in this novel will make you feel as if you know them personally. I have greatly enjoyed this series and this book was possibly the best of them all. Solid storyline, exceptional storytelling, and great investigative work and technique. This book also has plenty of action and personal interest as well. Virtually flawless.
the storyline is purely for mindless entertainment but if you enjoy a good yarn and a smile this was an excellent story.
I'm a crippeled old warrior with difficulty typing/writing etc. I used to love reading books, and have read many. I now love audio books.
I just finish this series a laughed, giggled, snickered, and loved every minute. Worth a credit and more.
Good Books Don't Promote Violence
Thank you Jana Deleon for writing an addictively entertaining series about smart, independent women over the age of 35. Please write more, lots more!
I have really enjoyed this series it's very predictable but enjoyable non the less. Fortune is a likeable character not at all the way a real operative would act but it's funny and charming.
