Once again, a great Stephanie Plum tale!

Great story

This is a great story but the narrator was not good at all. I had to slow down the speed, and I didn’t know sometimes who was talking. There were times I didn’t know a new scene had started. Also this is abridged, and I wanted the unabridged.

Narration was rough

Had a hard time with the narration but I guess you get used to it by the end. Story was great as usual with this series but wish they had the unabridged version.

Not a narrator… just a reader.

Really bad narration. When I get a good audio book, one of the best parts is the difference in dialogue from the characters. This book reader, doesn’t even do a very good job of communicating there are different characters. I hope she’s not doing any more of this series or I’m asking for my money back!

Great story, narration needs help.

How could the performance have been better?

Debi Mazar's narration wasn't as good as others in the Plum series of audio books. She didn't have much change in voice for characters and didn't seem as colorful.

Never a dull moment from 1 for the Money to Hot 6.

I love the Stephanie Plum novels. Especially the narrations by Lori Petty and
Debi Mazar. Those two ladies give it that New Jersey feel. They make the characters seem real and loveable. I wish all the Stephanie Plum novels were Narrated by them. Lorilei King's voice doesn't fit the character, but I still love the Stepanie Plum series.

Reading could be better

reading too fast and not enough variation for characters and what is with the music?

Audio Performance

I was very disappointed in the audio of the book, Hot Six. The narrator for books 1 through 4 was MUCH better.

Another great book!

I love the Stephanie Plum books! Fun stories that always have some quirk to them. I do miss Lori Petty's narration though. She made the quirkiness of Stephanie shine through.

the narrator is terrible, the music was unnecessary and didn't make any sense. CJ Critt was a way better narrator
