This is like my 20th time listening to this book and it still gets to me!! I Love It!
Lisa Jackson is soooo good!
While I think Samantha Leeds is a bit of a b**** I still love her, I Love Tye and I Love Detective Bentz and his partner Detective Montoya

This was about 5 hrs too long. It ended up being predictable. Love scenes cringy. It was just okay.

As usual Lisa Jackson has outdone herself , making this book as gripping as the others I have read of hers! Outstanding!

Pretty predictable, might have cut out some of the "thoughts of Sam". They were tiresome

Drug things out, trying too hard to be "suspenseful", terrible male voices

actually skipped some of the middle of the book, and that helped

Evil where you least expect

As always you can count on Lisa Jackson to provide a taunt book with suspense and a little romance.

My first Lisa Jackson book

I will listen to her again. I really liked it. She did well combining the differenent characters from previous 'lives' to bring them all together at a certain place and time. DID NOT see the ending coming at all....which I love in a good mystery! Well done Ms. Jackson.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Alyssa Bresnahan?

Anyone but Alyssa Bresnahan. You can hear her swallow and click her teeth though the whole book. Very annoying, ruined the whole book.

Thrilling and Suspenseful

Would you consider the audio edition of Hot Blooded to be better than the print version?

I would think so because Ms. Alyssa Bresnahan’s anticipating expression, gave me goose bumps.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Hot Blooded?

When Sam was in the bathroom she heard the footsteps coming up the stairs. I couldn’t put down the book.

What does Alyssa Bresnahan bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Her expressions were clear and compelling. She bought the book alive and her voice displayed full emotions at every given point.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yes this book evoked a reaction but it was neither to laugh or cry. It was more nail-biting anxiety.
