NOT WHAT I THOUGHT
1. Person reading book was horrible! she did not have a great variety and I had a hard time getting through this book.
I will be on the lookout for her and skip that book no matter how much I want it!
she made the book drag on and on!

A different kind of trilogy
This is a totally different and interesting new format for a novel and it worked: Three separate stories by three different authors, but with connecting links to each. Alyssa Bresnahan compliments any book she narrates. I really enjoy her voice.

Not a short story fan BUT…
I never download short stories and didn’t realize at first these were 3 short stories. The stories by all three authors were great, the characters well done and I was drawn into each story.
The narrator was my least favorite part. At times, she sounded like a grandmother with a shaky voice telling a story, her voice didn’t fit with the age of the characters and there wasn’t a very big voice range changing between characters.

Almost DNF
This was the least thrilling collection of stories I have ever had the misfortune of reading. I almost gave up multiple times, but the overview was so enticing I wanted to give it a chance. By the last story I was listening at 1.7x speed just to get it over with...

Coudn't Wait for This to End
Wow - three books for the price of one. At least that's what i thought when I used a precious credit to buy this. What a waste. I didn't find any of the three stories particularly compelling. The first wasn't bad, but the second was a disappointment, and the third seemed like it was as much a romance novel as a mystery. And the narrator didn't help. She sounded older than many of the characters in the book actually were and had a somewhat patrician way of speaking, which was distracting and made each of the stories even less credible than they already were for me.
I'm happy to see that others enjoyed these three novellas. Wish I had been one of them.
