Publisher's Summary

It's a case that haunts Bobby Dodge to this day - the case that nearly killed him and changed his life forever. Now, the gruesome discovery of six mummified corpses resurrects his worst nightmare: the return of a killer he thought dead and buried.

Bobby's only lead is wrapped around a dead woman's neck. Annabelle Granger's childhood was a blur of new cities and assumed identities. But what or who her family was running from, she never knew. Now a body is unearthed from a grave, wearing a necklace bearing Annabelle's name, and the danger is too close to escape.

Dodge knows he must solve the mystery of Annabelle Granger, and to do that, he must team up with his former lover, partner, and friend D. D. Warren from the Boston P.D.

From its beginning to its shocking climax, Hide is a thriller that delves into our deepest, darkest fears - where there is no one to trust, where there is no place left to hide.

    "Fabulous!"
    Any additional comments?

This was a great story with a terrific narrator!

I listen to books to pass the time while I am at work, doing mindless, boring tasks. I started this book mid-afternoon and had to drag myself away from work as I wanted to sit there listening until the very end. The next day I could not wait to work on some mindless tasks so I could get back into the book again.

This was the second Lisa Gardner book to which I had listened. While the first one was good and the narrator was okay, This story and Maggi-Meg Reed had me transfixed from beginning to end. The story was a sit-on-the-edge-of-your-seat thriller/detective story and the narrator was sublime!

There are not even words or descriptive words to say how highly I recommend this book! Since I like to listen to series in order, I look forward to the coming days, listening to Lisa Gardner's other books!

    "Another excellent read."
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

For sure. This book is hard to stop listening to. Excellent story line from beginning to end.

Who was your favorite character and why?

    None in particular.

What about Maggi-Meg Reed’s performance did you like?

Very easy voice to listen to.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Nothing really to laugh or cry about, that is in my opinion. More edge of my seat reaction or maybe shock and horror a few times.

    Any additional comments?

    Bring on all Lisa's books.

    "Love Lisa Gardner"

I first stumbled across Love you More, I didn't realize it was a series. I like it so much I bought another of hers, the last one - Catch me, then I realized it was a serious, and went and downloaded the first four, I have listened to two, and am loving every moment of them. It is not typical of me to listen to the same author for four books in a row and still going, but these are great, you would not be sorry, always an unexpected twist in the end.

    "Great mystery!"

Another great book from Lisa Gardner! Kept me hooked all the way through and I completely disagree with the previous reviews of the ending. I thought it was well crafted and I found it hard to turn off. I don't want to say more because I don't like spoiler reviews, but if you are one of Lisa's fans (and Bobby Dodge's) you won't be disappointed.

    "great book with one frustration"

Excellent read but having listened to "Alone" first it was frustrating that the last names of characters were pronounced differently than in the first book. It seems that it would have taken very little prep work to get this right... minor, I know, but still frustrating. Great book tho!

    "HARD TO PUT DOWN!"

My only disappointment with this book was when it was over. Highly recommend to anyone that loves suspense and action.

    "Wonderfully read"

I listened to Maggie Meg Reed read "The Time Traveler's Wife" and chose this book just because she is such a great reader. The story, while not my normal fare, was suspenseful and gripping. I was not disappointed. Reed can emote. I hope she performs another audio book soon.

    "Hmm....."

Where to start?? The book, overall, was a indeed a good one. In my opinion, however, I found the ending to be very anti-climatic. The build-up was great but at the end it just seemed to sort of fizz out.
