A good buy

Set of books for the price of 1 is very good. Narration was good too but wish they had multiple narrators in a set because it too much to listen to same voice thru' 3 books. I loved 'The Narrows' the most.

Looking forward to more sets like this.

Worth the time to listen

I really enjoyed the book but the audio kept skipping throughout the book of all 3 books

Connelly is a genius!

As a retired police officer, I'm amazed at the insight Michael Connelly has on police politics and personalities. Little would ever be done properly if it weren't for investigators like Harry Bosch. Also, I can relate to his problems with technology. It has been a pretty big hump for many of us older officers. Not being a techno geek plagued me for a long time, too. I love the series. By the was, Harry has some real problems with relationships with the opposite sex.

What a ride

Fantastic Three books to put together although The Narrows skips one book before Echo Park and The overlook still a great ride.

would have given 5 stars, but.....

The stores were good, well written and interesting, Characters are fleshed out and given relatable personalities. Would listen to others by this author. But, the background music (cheesy, hollow) and the high school sound effects really detracted from the enjoyment of the listen.

Box Set: Harry Bosh Series.

Great audio book. Well read by Mr. Carrillo. Can’t wait to listen to a few more. Adds suspense to my drives.

I love all the Bosch books. I didn't appreciate the clarinet competing with the narration.

Ditto Faulty Book Order& Audio problems

I love The Harry Bosch books.Michael Connelly is a fabulous writer. I love the idea of a Box set like this. Just sad for them being in the incorrect order.

The glitches in the recording

The stories were pretty well written, and the narrator was good at distinguishing the characters. However, the playback had weird glitches where there were skips/repeats at various times throughout all three books. I tried removing from device and then re-downloading, but that did not resolve the issue.

Fun but...

I'm new to the Harry Bosch thing. It's an enjoyable listen with the occaisional cool twist but the whole impulsive cop thing is a huge cliche. Somehow it is never a good idea to call for backup. Why is that? If a deeply evil serial killer has managed to escape twice already, why not shoot him in the leg straight up instead of giving him an opportunity to escape... AGAIN? That aside, there is a wry sense of humour and a great sense of place that gives this series its deserved reputation.
