Loved It!

It was riveting and startlingly I loved it! I wished the stories could go on and on forever. I am going to find me another one of his works.

Good book set. All three stories were excellent...

Good story & narration. Audio gets messed up at a few places. Definitely going to listen to more Hieronymus Bosh audio books.

Great deal-3Bosch stories for 1 credit

I really enjoy the Harry Bosch series. I didn't like the background music and the character voice of the victim's wife didn't sound right. But still enjoyed the stories at a great price through Audible.

The stories by Michael Connelly are very entertaining. Len Cariou does a good job of interpreting the men in the story but not the women. He reads them all as passive giving even some of their statements the air of questions. Rachel Walling in particular should not be read with a passive, unsure tone. Even her questions, when read, come across more forcefully, such as when Harry calls her in Echo Park for the first time and she asks him if the case is the only reason he's called. Cariou reads this line as timid and self conscious. However, the whole of Walling's lines and character suggest it should have been read as more ironic or as if she knew the effect she'd had on Bosch but wanted him to admit it.

Overall the reading is good because it mainly focuses on the character of Bosch but Cariou may need to talk to Connelly about his female characters to improve the audio experience.

Harry Bosch!

Harry Bosch is a regular detective, he makes mistakes but is predictable too. I got the box set on the recommendation of a friend, they were entertaining. The narrator did a nice job of depicting all the characters. I'll add to this series in the future.

great for long trips

great story, makes a long drives. times flies while you follow Bosh while he solves crimes.

I enjoyed every minute

These audio books were really enjoyable. I loved the stories and going step by step through the investigation held my attention.

These stories.............to me there is no "best" part of a Michael Connelly/Harry Bosch story, it's the "BEST" story no matter which one I've selected thus far. Michael Connelly is absolutely one of the best authors of detective/suspense stories I've ever read!

Have you listened to any of Len Cariou’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Other than in the Harry Bosch stories, no, but his performance was very good.

Yes, but unfortunately did not have the time.
