Publisher's summary

Ann Silver is a cop’s cop. As the Midwest Homicide Investigator, she is called in to help local law enforcement on the worst of cases, looking for answers to murder. Hers is one of the region’s most trusted investigative positions. Paul Falcon is the FBI’s top murder cop in the Midwest. If the victim carried a federal badge or had a security clearance, odds are good Paul and his team see the case file or work the murder.

Their lives intersect when Ann arrives to pass a case off her desk and onto his. A car wreck and a suspicious death offer a lead on a hired shooter he is tracking. Paul isn’t expecting to meet someone, the kind that goes on the personal side of the ledger, but Ann Silver has his attention.

The better he gets to know her, the more Paul realizes her job barely scratches the surface of who she is. She knows spies and soldiers and U.S. Marshals, and has written books about them. She is friends with the former vice president. People with good reason to be cautious about who they let into their lives deeply trust her. Paul wonders just what secrets Ann is keeping, until she shows him the John Doe Killer case file, and he starts to realize just who this lady he is falling in love with really is....

Lots of surprises

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would definitely recommend this book, but only if they first read Dee's OMalley and Military Series. I've enjoyed her stories so much, and re-read them often. Was so excited when I saw she FINALLY published another.

What did you like best about this story?

In the beginning, I was ready to email her and ask her why she she didn't use the correct names. I recognized Dave and Kate right away, but it was Richards, not Sinclair. Glad I waited. Loved the way she pulled it all together. Loved the way I could recognize all her characters. So satisfying. I absolutely LOVED all of it.

Which scene was your favorite?

At the end, that she married Paul.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I did have an extreme reaction. I did both, with a lot of OHHHS in there too.

Any additional comments?

Please Dee, don't wait so long to write more. I've re-read you so much, I could probably quote dialogue. You're a very gifted writer. A feel good writer. We need more.

An OK Read

I am a fan of Dee Henderson, so I was a bit disappointed with this one.
It didn't keep my attention to the end like her other books.

I was very pleased at the beginning of the book when I found that the O'Malleys are in the book, but then it just fizzled from there.

It doesn't grab you to the end.
Not a bad story, but not a great one.

Reader

The is nothing more disturbing then a man doing a woman's voice. I'm was really glad to realize early in this book that I had read it and found it in my library, glad to know I could return it and get something else. As well as these books sell to younger Christians why can't you flip the extra money for a female reader also?

Performance Missed the Mark

I really wanted to enjoy this book. There were times when it was all right, but so many more instances when the performer missed the mark. When the Anne character first appeared, his interpretation of her voice and manner of speaking put me in mind of a middle-aged woman. For me, the performance was just "off."

Good mystery...romance a bit unbelieveable

What made the experience of listening to Full Disclosure the most enjoyable?

I've read several Dee Henderson books and liked them all. I have mixed feelings about this book. I feel the read would have been made better by focusing on the mystery rather than the rather awkwardly written romance.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

The twists and turns of the mystery portion of the book were great. I would have liked more of that part of the story. I was disappointed that it go deeper in to the details of the crimes. I hope there's a continuation of the investigation of each shooting as it was a very interesting plot.

Any additional comments?

The romance part of the book wasn't entirely believable and it seemed to drag on forever! I felt Ann's resistance to the romance was awkwardly written and, given her age, rather unbelievable since she obviously cared for him.

Slow

The story line of this book was okay but the God aspect was fluff. It added nothing to the plot and didn’t really enhance the character development. I just didn’t see a reason for it’s inclusion.
