Publisher's summary

#1 New York Times bestselling author Brad Thor brings readers his darkest and most intriguing thriller yet - a terrifying story of espionage and betrayal - brilliantly paced with superb nonstop action.

Born in the shadows and kept from heads of state, there are some missions so deadly, so sensitive, that they simply don't exist.

When one such mission goes horribly wrong, a wave of dramatic terrorist attacks is set in motion. Their goal: the complete and total collapse of the United States.

With the CIA's intelligence abilities hobbled, former Navy SEAL Team 6 member turned covert counterterrorism operative Scot Harvath launches an audacious plan to infiltrate the terrorists' network and prevent one of the biggest threats the United States has ever faced.

Simultaneously, a foreign wet work team has been sent to California. Their target: one of Hollywood's most famous filmmakers.

While working on a secret documentary project, movie producer Larry Salomon has unknowingly exposed one of the world's wealthiest and most politically connected powerbrokers - a man with a radical anti-American agenda poised to plunge the nation into deadly, irreversible chaos.

As the plots rocket to their pulse-pounding conclusion and the identities of the perpetrators are laid stunningly bare, Harvath will be left with only one means to save America. Unable to trust anyone, he will be forced to go Full Black.

Intense and frighteningly realistic, Full Black is, hands down, Brad Thor's most riveting thriller to date.

Would have given it 5 stars if....

..the author would have used less foul language. You don't need to use 500 "F words" to make a great book. Please tone down the language!! I don't feel that I can recommend it to friends because of this flaw. I enjoyed the story a lot but I would have enjoyed it even more without the swearing.

Great Action, Great Attention to Detail

What did you love best about Full Black?

I loved the non-stop action of this book.

What did you like best about this story?

I love how Brad insists on paying attention to deatil in his novels. He does a great Job of including other types of characters in Full Black as well as highly trained operatives and terrorists. Not all of the characters in the book are CIA, NSA, Seals, Delta, Rangers, Spetsnas, MI5 or other elite forces. In addition, not all of the bad guys in the novel are muslims from the middle east. Although the book contains many of these types, he does a great job of integrating people from all walks of life into the story. The the tangled web disception and terror in this novel is supurb. Armand Schultz also does a great job.

Another griping story.

Never a disappointment. Can't wait to listen to the next one. Harvard in the real world would be a good thing.

Terrific Thriller...But?

This was my first Brad Thor book. I really enjoyed the experience. Armand is a gifted reader/interpreter. Lot's of twists and turns down dark alleys, bullets flashing, bombs shaking. All elements combined put you in a action/adventure lovers dreamland. I would have given this book 5 stars all across the board except the ending left me hanging. Where is the resolution? Why does Mr. Thor not finish the story? It seems to be a teaser for the next installment in the series.

My favorite thus far

I've completed the first ten books in this series and this one is my favorite thus far. Don't get me wrong. I have enjoyed all of the books. And Armand's narration is absolutely the best! Can't wait to start Book 11 this evening and many more thereafter!

This is a good fiction story

This book is not a left or right novel. Those who have a problem with this book only want to read their political views. I thought it was just a good fiction book.
