Publisher's summary

Stephanie Plum, Trenton, New Jersey's favorite pistol-packing, condom-carrying bounty hunter, is back and on the trail of a revenge-seeking waitress who's skipped bail. With the help of 73-year-old Grandma Mazur, ex-hooker Lula, a transvestite musician named Sally Sweet, and the all-too-hospitable, all-too-sexy Joe Morelli, Stephanie might just catch her woman. Then again, with more mishaps than there are exits on the Jersey Turnpike, including murders, firebombs, and Stephanie's arch-rival bounty hunter chasing after the same fugitive, Stephanie better watch her back big-time if she wants to live to crack this case.

That you can immediately hit play and re-enter a beloved new world, or love story, or era from history is a gift to the devoted listener. But how to pick just 100 of these unique and immersive listening journeys? We defined a series as having a minimum of three books, and—after some debate—we decided the titles had to be anchored in fiction. From YA to horror to historical fiction, from fresh voices to seminal tales, hours of discovery await.

Stephanie Plum is an enjoyable character.

Where does Four to Score rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I have listened to 100's of audio books, and Stephanie Plum books always have good twists and lots for REAL humor. I catch myself laughing while driving and listening to them.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Things kept coming up out of the blue, without any real connection. You were always curious.

What does C. J. Critt bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I have said it before but have the same person reading the books in a seris is crutial to keeping the identy of the character.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

LAUGH! I Love Lula and Sally!

Any additional comments?

If my house burned up, I would be very upset! That could have been kicked up a notch.

new Character Sally Sweet is FABULOUS

there's some flaws with the way they do the chapters in this book but all in all it is a nice light funny audiobook. we have a new character that is introduced into Stephanie's life... Sally Sweet is not your normal girl... she has true cojones. enjoyable but I am sad there is no book 5 on audiobook that I can find or books 6 so I guess I'll have to do some actual reading before listening to book 7. it would be very nice to not have this Gap in the series

staying strong

I'm always leery of a long series because how many times can you listen to the same crazy stuff happening to the same goofy heroine and still love her, but then the author goes and adds Sally Sweet in the mix with Lula and Grandma, sending them all to Atlantic City. And then I can't stop reading. It's impossible to get bored, because there's always some new trouble Stephanie ends up in that you just don't (can't possibly) see coming. And then there's Joe.

This is a truly enjoyable series, and I'm on to book five.
