Hideous sound effects
If you dislike sound effects, stay away. These are the worst ever.
Perhaps Patterson thinks that a powerful villain in a position of power is enticing. Not. Imagine Lt. Calley of the My Lai Massacre were promoted rather than court martialed, and you would have this plot.

This one Got Me!
Thank you Mr. Patterson! It is always a pleasure to read your books but this one it was at the very end that I got the who and the why. I usually can figure out the why or the who just before you comfirm the fact but with this book I was not sure until you told me who and why! I had so much fun with this book that I read it twice. I like all your books but this one was the best so far for me.

Loved the Action
I loved how the narrators assessment life to the characters and the music was an very nice touch. Can't wait to read the next book to see what happens next!

Still loved it
I was not a fan of the odd sound effects but still enjoyed the book!
I hope they re-record.

WHY MUSIC!?!
The Alex Cross series is a great story!! I have been listening to book after book and so far each book has been inthralling. Having said that I believe the audiobook company is trying their hardest to ruin the series!! Each book has had a different reader which I just don't understand it makes it hard to get into the series because it seems like each book is its own book. An even bigger frustration WHY DO THEY PUT MUSIC IN THE STORY!! This is a BOOK NOT A MOVIE!!!!!!!!!
