Publisher's summary

Navy SEAL turned covert operative Scot Harvath is called to action once again in Brad Thor's hottest political thriller yet.

Buried within the black ops budgets of the Department of Defense, a new spy agency has been created. Unfettered by the oversight of self-serving politicians, it reports only to a secret panel of military insiders. Its job is to target Americas enemies - both foreign and domestic - under a charter of three simple words: Find, Fix, and Finish.

Recruited as a field operative, Scot Harvath has just returned from his first assignment abroad when a bombing in Rome kills a group of American college students. The evidence points to a dangerous colleague from Harvath's past and a plan for further attacks on an unimaginable scale.

Harvath is tasked with leveraging his relationship to lure the man out of hiding and kill him on the spot. But what if it is the wrong man?

Simultaneously, a young woman is struck by a taxi in a hit-and-run in Chicago. With only two intoxicated witnesses and over 5,000 cabs in the city, the Chicago Police have given up on their investigation. But when the family's attorney digs deeper, he will uncover a shocking connection to the bombing in Rome and the perpetrator's plans for America.

As the story rockets to its conclusion, the plots intersect in a race to prevent one of the most audacious and unthinkable acts of war in the history of mankind.

Take another thrill ride with Scot Harvath.

Very good but so many other authors copy his lead it is hard to tell much diffence.

Difference in heroes, plot and organizations. Too bad since the other writers books are cheaper. Still Thor is the leader of the pack.

as good as the rest

Thor brings back many of his former characters in Foreign Influence. If you enjoyed other Scot Harvath books, you'll like this one too, as long as you don't mind a little brutal interrogation. Schultz' performance is excellent.

Good as usual for a Scottish Harvard book.

I'm a big fan of Brad Thor and the Scot Harvath series has been awesome. This isn't the best in the series but is still well worth the listen. Maybe Brad Thor has set the bar so high that I'm spoiled! Seriously, you can't go wrong with this book.

Fantastic

I started with "Full Black" and have been hooked on this series since. The words of Brad Thor and Armand's performance are meant for each other.

Just what I've come to expect from Brad Thor

Brad Thor keeps getting better and better. This story is action packed and thrilling. There are no boring lulls or down time. It is a fascinating look into terrorist cells and the lengths they will go to in order to complete their mission. The ending just makes me look forward to the next Brad Thor book. Armand Schultz did a fabulous job narrating. I never felt as though I was "being read to."

Kept my attention throughout, narrator was just OK

I enjoyed the story, thought even though characters in the book bemoan Political Correctness, I did, at times, find the story itself to be a bit PC.

Didn't care much for the narrator. His foreign accents often sounded the same. His voice doesn't seem to have as much range as other narrators I've listen to on Audible. I can easily imagine this guy doing narrating for corporate training videos.

Slow start but gets better

I struggled with this audio book at first it seemed to be going nowhere and the narration was extremely slow. I increased playback to 1.5x speed, and that made a huge difference, around the same time the storyline improved too.

once the story got going I enjoyed it.
