"Another classic story from Enid."
Bit of a slow burner, and most of the action happens in the last third of the book. Although I listen for the nostalgic effect. loved being transported to the 1940s. Having a good experience revisit the famous five series
I loved the TV program and this makes you feel like you're actually their :D
Really enjoyable story from a much gentler era. Easy to follow and easy to listen to.
Superb reading by Jan Francis just adds to the quality of this..
