Publisher's summary

Recipe for disaster: Celebrity chef Stanley Chipotle comes to Trenton to participate in a barbecue cook-off and loses his head—literally.

Throw in some spice: Bail bonds office worker Lula is witness to the crime, and the only one she'll talk to is Trenton cop, Joe Morelli.

Pump up the heat: Chipotle's sponsor is offering a million-dollar reward to anyone who can provide information leading to the capture of the killers.

Stir the pot: Lula recruits bounty hunter Stephanie Plum to help her find the killers and collect the moolah.

Add a secret ingredient: Stephanie's Grandma Mazur. Enough said.

Bring to a boil: Can Stephanie hunt down two killers, a traitor, five skips, keep her grandmother out of the sauce, solve Ranger's problems and not jump his bones?

Warning: Janet Evanovich's Finger Lickin' Fifteen is habanero hot. So good you'll want seconds.

Critic reviews

“Lorelei King delivers this light fiction with gusto, missing none of the humor, whether broad or subtle...King's comic timing suits the story as does the laugh that's almost audible in her performance. Who else could make us giggle at a headless body in a morgue?” —AudioFile

“Veteran Evanovich narrator Lorelei King seems perfectly at home when in command of bounty hunter Stephanie Plum...Plum's larger than life office assistant Lula lands in the center of the drama, and King delivers a deliciously over the top performance of her antics.” —Publishers Weekly

“Lorelei King's narration and portrayals of the bounty jumpers are as spicy as ever!” —Chapel Hill Herald

Not as funny.

The story involves some new characters, but overall the plot was uninteresting. This book was boring and unoriginal. Some of the conversations between Stephanie and Joe sound very familiar. This audiobook should be skipped.

This was the best book I laughed out loud. The narrator brought this book to life. I have not enjoyed a book this much in a long time. It is a must read. There is only one word GREAT!!!!!

A little Disappointed

I love the 'Number' books and have enjoyed all of them. This one, kinda left me, less than enthused. First, it is only a little over 6 hours long. That is one travel day for me. Second, I just didn't think it had the same fun as the other ones I have read.
It is still a fun read but leaves you wishing there were more meat to the story, rather than just pineapple upside down cake.

Love Ranger!

I loved that this installment had a lot of Ranger in it. #14 had been a big disappointment to me, and this one wasn't. I enjoyed it and that the main characters filled the book (unlike #14 that had lots different characters). The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the usual "Stephanie in danger" towards the book's ending wasn't present. The mysteries just sort of ended. Beyond that, it was great and was worth the listen. But now it's another year till #16.

And Lorelei is the BEST narrator. She brings Stephanie, Lulu, Ranger, Morelli and Grandma to life.

Delicious!

Just the dish I expected. Perfect "listen" when you just want to relax & be entertained. Characters in Evanovich's books remind you of people you may know.Ummm let me think... I don't know a Ranger or Morelli but sure would like to

Meets Expectations

Finger Lickin Fifteen met all of the high expectations I have when it comes to Janet Evanovich and The Stephanie Plum Series. The laughs abound with Stephanie, Grandma, Lula and the other characters we have grown to love.

Janet's ability to introduce new excentric characters in each of her novels continues in Finger Lickin and I enjoy meeting each of them. Don't pass on this series. I have read (or listened to) the entire series and love every one, often finding myself laughing out loud at the humor.

Fantasic

Loved it! I have always enjoyed reading the books in the Stephanie Plum series but listening to it was awesome. The narrator did a wonderful job on changing her voice for all the different characters in the books. Can't wait to listen to another.
