Like watching a movie in your head!

I have to admit I'm hooked! I really enjoy the Stephanie Plum stories, but what send me over the top is the narrarator. Lorelei King does such a great job, you easily will believe it's more than one person reading. She takes Evanovich's stories to new levels.

I recommend starting with the whole series. King doesn't start reading till book seven though, and the characters aren't as interesting and gripping until she narrates. We need more books read by King.

Another Great Plum Story

I liked the story & the narrator. The tension between the characters is great. Of course I'd love to see Stephanie and Ranger in a very steamy affair. The name on this review is my husbands. He'd just die if I didn't let you know that his wife if the one who read the book

Terrific

Terrific as usual. I love this series. Hilarious to the end. I have read the book and listened to it twice. I find myself going to sleep wanting to dream about Ranger and Morelli. Why cant a girl have her cake and two men too? This book is guarenteed to make you smile, and yourself and want more in the end. Janet just cant write these fast enough. It kills me to wait for the next one.

Love the series!

This is the first time I have read this author and have fallen in love with the Stephanie Plum series. I downloaded all 13 books and listened to them all within a week. I couldn’t wait to hear what adventures (and mishaps!) that Stephanie, Joe, Ranger, Lula and the rest of the gang would get into. I’ve read some of the previous reviews. I agree with some and disagree with others. I disagree that it gets old and complacent that Stephanie finds herself in the same situations in every book. It appears to me that Stephanie’s character is just one of those people that trouble and mayhem seem to find. I do agree that narrator Lori Petty is the voice of Stephanie. Narrator Debi Mazar’s accent is a bit heavy for audio books and then after all this Lorilei King takes over as narrator for the rest of the series. While Ms. King’s character voices are awesome (she has such a range!) her Stephanie voice has no Jersey accent at all and sound just a little too “blue blood”. Otherwise Ms. King is a joy to listen to. You will fall in love with Ranger and Joe! Both are too hot to handle……no wonder Stephanie can’t choose between the two!

Don’t let the narrator changes deter you from listening to this funny charming, and at times mysterious series. You won’t be disappointed if you’re looking for something light hearted to listen to.

Typical Stephanie Plum! If you enjoyed the 1st 10, you will not be disappointed with #11. Loooking forward to #12.

as always I loved this book! Janet Evanovich is one of my favorite authors and this book did not let me down. it had a great storyline, tons of humor, and all kinds of pizzazz!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Eleven on Top?

Just imagine the hot Morelli and the scorching Ranger walking up to a grease covered Stephanie Plum, complete with Cluck in the Bucket hat, and tossing a coin to see who gets to clean her up! Ridiculous disasters and never ending wise cracks await the reader of Eleven on Top!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Absolutely.

I always enjoy all of the Stephanie Plum series. She is a character you can just get into and really laugh at/with.

More Plum Fun

Eleven on Top has all the fun hijinks that readers expect from a Stephanie Plum novel. If you are looking for new developments in the Morelli-Stephanie-Ranger story, it is not there, but there are many laugh-out-loud moments. Lorelei King does a great job, as usual, with the narration, making the characters come to life. For Plum fans, this is worth a listen.
