Follow up, nice to know

As usual, Mr. Mayberry is writing, and Mr. porters narration are an excellent combination.
Most books do have a certain element of unbelievability. As an idealist, and an optimist, I do love to see stories that show, extreme, patriotism, and extreme dedication to maintaining peoples rights, and a general order of right and wrong.
As a former Marine, there’s only one thing there bothers me somewhat; the character “bunny“ also being a former Marine, continues to say “Hoo-ah,” which is something that the army says when enthusiastically agreeing with something. Marines say, “Ooh-Rah.”
I know this sounds like a trivial matter, but it is something that just seems to bang the back of my mind has completely wrong.
I wish there were some way that I could contact Mr. Mayberry and express my concern to him, but there are so many of the books read already. I know it will never make a difference.
Still, I enjoy the books, and will continue reading all the Joe Ledger series.

Hope this is indicative

I already have Patient Zero in my library so I hope this is indicative of JM's writing. The story seemed to flow naturally. I chuckled a time or two and I felt for the character. For me it also always helps to have a dog in the story. I normally don't like stories with long fight scenes, as I don't believe it takes a lot of talent to write fight scenes, and I prefer that they just tell me who won. The fight scene was not too long, seemed necessary and had a surprise.

This isn't Proust or George Eliot, but it fits my taste.

At 57 minutes I am hoping it is a good introduction to Maberry's work.

Narrator was great.

Good story, too short.

I enjoy the story, really didn't care much for the readers voice. He was bland. Every very moment he try I act out but fails. World war z book on tape is amazingly good. Wish this book was like that.

Short but sweet

There has always been a lot of depth to Joe Ledger. This story shows us how he heals and learns to cope with the horror he's seen and the losses he's had.

Beautiful

This could have been classified as a love story. For both man and beast. So sweet yet violent. Ray Porter as usual was superb.

A Perfect Short Story. Will make you want more!

I wanted to try this author and narrator out. This was the best story to do that with.
There will be more to read of this story later. You will want to buy this story, full length and enjoy the characters. This book is a complete story in itself. Even this being a short , it was very enjoyable and action filled! Very much worth the download. Narration was excellent
