His books are great, shame about the bad reader
David Baldacci books are always worth their money, compeling, no way could I stop listening but the reader Ron McLarty was so bad at his pronounciation that I almost gave up!
Please next time get another reader, one that can pronounce French words properly especially!
I may have to skip purchasing any books now with this reader for fear of his voice spoiling it!
It's a shame the publisher did not review this before it was put out there for publication on Audible.

Much darker than others
The title doesn't give even a hint of the amount of type of evil portrayed in this book. There were while sections I skipped through because I simply could not stomach the gory details...or the horrific situations. An excellent read by Ron, and a captivating story in true Baldacci fashion. The storyline was just so difficult to engage with. I don't know that I have ever cheered so fervently for someone to die in any other Baldacci book!

Good Story
Not one of my favorite Baldacci books yet worth the listen. Narration was excellent. The ending lends itself to a sequel which I will probably get.

Over the top in gore
While I have always enjoyed reading and listening to David Baldacci's books, this one ranks as one of the most gruesome stories yet. His detailed accounts of the torture inflicted on the various victims was more than I could stomach.
