Publisher's summary

Soon to be a major motion picture sequel to Murder on the Orient Express with a screenplay by Michael Green, directed by and starring Kenneth Branagh alongside Gal Gadot and Armie Hammer - coming September 17, 2021!

Beloved detective Hercule Poirot embarks on a journey to Egypt in one of Agatha Christie’s most famous mysteries.

The tranquility of a luxury cruise along the Nile was shattered by the discovery that Linnet Ridgeway had been shot through the head. She was young, stylish, and beautiful. A girl who had everything...until she lost her life.

Hercule Poirot recalled an earlier outburst by a fellow passenger: “I’d like to put my dear little pistol against her head and just press the trigger.” Yet under the searing heat of the Egyptian sun, nothing is ever quite what it seems.

A sweeping mystery of love, jealousy, and betrayal, Death on the Nile is one of Christie’s most legendary and timeless works.

Death on the Nile is perfect.” (The Guardian)

“One of her best.... First rate entertainment.” (Kirkus Reviews)

A great one.

Excellent over all, but I had trouble hearing some of the accents. Great performance though.

Narrator…???

Well the narrator doesn’t admirable job of imitating David Suchet as Poirot, I can’t understand why he get so many of the other characters annoying voices and unintelligible lisps. And frankly he talks so fast, one wonders if he’s having a raise to see if he can get through it faster than any other narrator. I had to slow it down twice to even get the speech to a normal speed… I’ve never heard anyone talk so fast except auctioneers.

I Love David Suchet!

One of Agatha Christie's best, read perfectly by Hercule Poirot actor David Suchet! If you've never read Christie before, this is a great place to start.

My favorite Christie novel

I love this book. All of the characters are delightful, complex creatures and the overlapping mysteries are captivating. Cannot wait for the movie.

An original

Excellent classic Agatha Christie novel read by an absolutely awesome narrator; all those accents aren't easy. Would recommend. Makes me want to watch an unabridged BBC film version.

David Suchet IS Hercule Poirot

With the fabulous David Suchet once again portraying Hercule Poirot, of course I had to buy this audiobook. It was so worth it. His Poirot is perfect, of course, but he does all of the other voices so well that one has no difficulty at all keeping up with who is speaking.

The story itself has always been one of my favorite Agatha Christie books. Mr. Suchet made it a joy to experience.
